Foundation Gardens and Native Plants

Foundation gardens enhance the “welcome factor” of a home or community building, yet they can be complicated to plan, plant, and maintain. In this talk, we'll first look at the special design challenges associated with building foundations and try out new ways of seeing them. Then, we'll talk about the many beautiful native plants that can work in this highly visible area. The foundation garden need not be a bastion of boxwoods and pachysandra.
